Cape Codder Resort

The Cape Codder Resort is ideally located for couples who want a convenient place from which to explore all of Cape Cod. It's right in the heart of Hyannis, just a block from the Cape Cod Mall, and about a mile from Main Street. It is a on a very busy intersection of the main road tha leads into Hyannis from the mid-Cape Highway so it's not the most peaceful location you'll find, but it has a lot to offer visiting couples looking for lots of amenities.

If you read most of their marketing literature, you could be forgiven for thinking of this as primarily a family resort, with their highly touted indoor wave pool and an emphasis on kid-friendly activities. But they also do a good job of catering to couples, particularly during the off-season when the kids are back in school.

The Resort offers 260 guestrooms, some of which feature hot tubs and fireplaces, and all of which have been completely renovated in the years since the property was purchased by the Catania family (owners of the Dan'l Webster Inn and the Hearth and Kettle chain of restaurants). Different room styles include a Cape Cod cottage style to rooms with a more B&B-type feel to them (cherry wood furniture and four-poster beds), and even elegant two-story suites.

Many rooms offer patios or balconies overlooking a beautifully landscaped courtyard, clambake pit and beach area. Complimentary wired and wireless high-speed Internet access is provided along with direct-dial phones and free local calls.

The resort also offers a full-service spa, a health club, a sauna, an indoor pool with waterslide, and a spa tub, not to mention two restaurants and a bar/lounge named VJ's after the patriarch of the Catania family.
