Cape Cod Beaches

Our Favorite Beaches

Head of the Meadow

From the small and rocky Town Neck Beach in Sandwich, with views of the Canal, to the silky sands of Race Point Beach in Provincetown, where you'll know you're at the tip of the pennisula, Cape Cod Beaches draw visitors from around the globe for their rugged beauty and unparalled vistas.

With close to 600 miles of coastline and over 150 fresh and saltwater beaches, its no wonder why Cape Cod Beaches rank high on the list of the best beaches in America and we'd wager- the world.

Cape Cod Beaches range from the warmer waters of Buzzard's Bay and Nantucket Sound to the frigid waves of the outer Cape, where water temperatures hoover around 60 degrees. In fact, we're sure the old saying "Hearty New Englander" has its roots in the adventurous souls who plunge right in without so much of a pause.

But there are some beaches where the water is warmer, where you can actually paddle and float without losing feeling in your toes. And there are some beaches where the cold foamy waves roar onto the beach, making them ideal for surfing.

You'll find tidal flats in Brewster where you can walk out a mile during low tide and watch oyster farmers tending their seedlings. And you'll find that some beaches are just perfect for watching our spectacular sunsets.

Whatever beach you end up choosing, whether you relax under a colorful umbrella and catch up on those summer reads, race in to ride the waves, or play a game of frisbee, enjoy your time on our beaches and remember that saying: the summers of our youth are not lost, you just need to know how to find them.

And on Cape, you'll find them.

Check down below for our listing of Cape Cod Beaches. It's not a complete list- but we've named our favorites and will continue to add them throughout the year.

Enjoy.

Nauset Beach -Orleans

Sandy Neck Beach -Sandwich

Cahoon Hollow Beach -Wellfleet
