Sippewissett Campground Cabins

Cape Cod Canal

Sippewissett Campground & Cabins in Falmouth sits next to the Shining Sea Bike Path so that's a big plus in our books. Being 'on' the Bike Path gives you the flexibility to bike around Falmouth, virtually leaving your car at the campsite for most outings. With limited parking at many Falmouth beaches, having a bike ensures access!

With 100 sites suitable for tents and RV's, plus tipis and 11 cabins, you are bound to find something to like about Sippewissett. We've passed this campground on the Bike Path several times and it is a back to basics campground. Friends of ours stayed here and like most Cape Cod Campgrounds, you'd better like your neighbors because you'll be quite close.

Don't expect brand new showers or features- this is a basic old fashioned family campground (yes, there are just couples here so relax) and if you are looking for quiet and solace, you should weigh the pros and cons carefully.

On the plus side, you'll have fabulous access to the Shining Sea Bike Path and the rest of Falmouth, including the glorious and balmy salt water beaches. You can bike down to Wood's Hole, stopping mid-way to slip into the water. In Wood's Hole, be sure to stop by the Pie in the Sky bakery for a great treat- you've earned it.
